The Gerrish Webb Trio is a two guitar/double bass ensemble that play a variety of music to suit the occasion. Our extensive repertoire covers many genres from gypsy jazz to jazz standards with touches of reggae, flamenco and rhythm & blues.We are experienced musicians with rich performance backgrounds and are able to adapt to most venues large or small.
Steve Gerrish and Graeme Webb resume their creative musical partnership previously heard with great success in the Fondue Set with jazz school graduate Jayne Burt (upright bass) replacing Caitlin Smith (vocals).
While mainly acoustic in nature, Gerrish and Webb display compositional and arrangement abilities that are best described as fearless.
The Repertoire is culled from 40 years of experience as guitarists, composers, teachers and performers.
